Choose your disc size

bohokiwi menstrual discs come in two sizes. The right size is mainly about fit and comfort, but your flow, cervix height and previous disc experience can also help guide your choice.

Small - 45 ml
61 mm diameter x 35 mm height
The smaller-diameter option. It may suit you if you prefer a smaller fit, have a lower cervix, or find a larger disc uncomfortable or difficult to position.

Regular - 60 ml
68 mm diameter x 39 mm height
The larger-diameter option. It may suit you if you prefer a larger fit, have a higher cervix, or want more capacity for your flow.

A disc should sit comfortably behind the pubic bone without causing pressure or slipping out of position. Finding the right size can take some trial and error.

Purple Round Carrier Case

The Purple bohokiwi Round Menstrual Disc Carrier Case gives you a compact way to carry your disc in your handbag, school bag, gym bag or luggage.

Made from soft, flexible silicone, the round shape holds your disc without folding it tightly and helps protect its shape while you are carrying it.

For storage at home between cycles, use the cotton storage bag supplied with your disc.

Collapsible Steriliser

The bohokiwi Regular 200 ml Collapsible Steriliser provides a compact, reusable way to clean and sterilise your menstrual disc.

Made from silicone, it can be used for rinsing during your cycle and for microwave steam or boiling-water sterilising as part of your regular care routine.

The collapsible design folds flat when not in use, making it easy to store at home or pack for travel.

Using your menstrual disc

Wear for up to 12 hours depending on your flow and individual needs.

Insert the disc into the vaginal canal and tuck the front rim securely behind the pubic bone. If discs are new to you, give yourself time to become familiar with insertion, positioning and removal.

Cleaning and storage

Clean your disc regularly during your period and thoroughly between cycles.

Use the Collapsible Steriliser with water for rinsing and cleaning during your cycle, or follow the bohokiwi instructions for microwave steam or boiling-water sterilising.

Once completely dry, store your disc in the cotton storage bag provided.
